Bortnikoff Oud Maximus Extrait
Oud Maximus, composed by Dmitry Bortnikoff as a personal tribute to his son Maxim, is the house's tribute to raw, untamed oud, a rare convergence of Laotian, Indian, and Thai agarwood oils harmonized with four precious rose varieties. It opens with animalic oud brightened by jasmine and citrus, blooms into an ambery rose-and-magnolia heart, and settles into a deep, magnetic base of oud, civet, and musk.
Scent Character
An intensely oud-forward, animalic-woody composition built around three agarwood origins and four distinct rose materials, civet adds a raw, skin-like warmth to the drydown rather than the sweetness more common in Bortnikoff's other oud releases.
