Maniac is a burst of candied fruit: green apple, raspberry and strawberry stirred into coconut milk and vanilla. Released by Narcotica in 2025 and composed by Claude Dir, it opens bright and tart on green apple, raspberry, clementine and lemon, with a cool thread of mint. Strawberry and coconut milk soften the heart, with ambrette and ambroxan adding a musky glow, before vanilla bean, brown sugar, ambergris, musk and sandalwood take over. It is loud, playful and unapologetically sweet. Reviewers are split: some love the juicy fruit and staying power, while others find it closer to a nostalgic fruity body spray than a serious niche fragrance.

Translation: sweet fruit and vanilla lead, and the apple, citrus and mint give it a genuinely fresh second layer. Sandalwood and ambergris keep a soft woody floor underneath.
